White shimmery eyeshadow /gloss vs powder/ review

Merry Christmas everyone ^ ^
This is the time of the year where you can go over the top whit glittery, shimmery eyeshadows and no one will think you are crazy ^ ^ I for once LOVE eyeshadows whit a bit of shimmer in them, and the silver/white ones are the most popular this season /and for me the whole year ^ ^/ I own a shimmery white gloss eyeshadow from Miss Sporty and a powder one from Essence /sadly I don't have a loose powder one/. So today I'm going to talk about the "+" and "-" side on this two types of eyeshadow ^ ^
They both are around the same price /1.50 euro for MS and 1.90 for Essence or something like that/ //out of topic - I'm sorry that I can tell you an exact price on anything, but my curency is bulgarian leva and 1 euro = 1.96 leva and some brands reverse it - like essence if something here 6 leva, it will be 3 euro in all the countrys whit euro, and some brands leave it the same - like maybelline something that costs 10 euro, here it will cost 10 leva, not 20. And because if you get 400 euro for a salary, we don't get 800 leva, we get 400 leva and most of the products are way to expensive for me and that's why most of my reviews are on cheaper products like Miss Sporty or Golden Rose ... Essence and Maybelline /and may be L'oreal, all thgou one mascara from L'oreal cost like 30 leva/are in the middle range and I can't afford something from the higher range, so I am again sorry for that //
Lets start whit the Miss Sporty one

This is how it looks opened

And how it looks on the skin

As you can see, you have to apply it by hand, you can apply it whit a brush, but it will leave strikes and won't be so pretty and if you use a sponge - it will take a part from your shadow and just absorve it, so it's best to use your finger ^ ^
As you can see i you don't go over it again it is white and shimmery, but not too much - I love that, I also love the fact, that it doesn't crease a lot, I do have a lot a lot of skin on my eyes, so all my shadows crease a lill' bit.
Now a big plus here is, that you can use it as a base or the powder eyeshadows, because when it's a gloss it has some stickines of a sort, so it helps your eyeshadow to stay there, the minus is that you just can't apply it on top o a powder eyeshadow, I mean you can, but it really won't work out ^ ^ I also love to put it on my eyebrow bone ^ ^

Essence

This is how it looks opened

And how it looks like on the skin

Here a you can see the colour is way more intense. You can apply it how ever you want - by hand, brush, sponge. Again it doesn't crease /all most, as I explained/ The plus here is that you can use it on top of other eyeshadows /in this case a little bit o this on top gives it a magical shimmer and you can also put a bit on your eyebrows as well/.

They both are wonderful and if you combine them /first the gloss than the powdre/ you will be amazed by the end result ^ ^
Have you used gloss eyeshadows ?What is your opinion ?

Creme Rouge from Alvede - review

Hey girls, are you preparing for the holidays ? Did you put up you Christmas tree and decorations ? I still don't feel the dpirit of the holiday, I still haven't touched all the Christmas stuff.. Any way back on the topic - Today I'm gonna do a review of the creme rouge by Alverde. For those of you that don't know Alverde is a natural cosmetic line, from Germany, that belongs to the DM drogerie market and it can only be found in the DM stores ^ ^ /or online I suposse /

So the rouge I have is in number 2 Soft Coper

The colour stays very natural on the skin / at least on my skin /

My cheeks are naturally "blushed", so it looks like I'm wearing a bit of blush all the time, but I do have some health issues and then I get really pale and look.... well like a vampire ^ ^ So I deffenatly need a touch of rouge to look a bit more alive ^ ^ And because I don't know when it will happen, i prefer to carry to rouge whit me and put it on, when I need it. So I really wanted to try out a cream rouge, because I don't need a brush to put it on, just a finger /of witch I have 10 ^ ^/ so when I saw this one on sale for half price /3.90 leva, from 7.90 leva/ I just had to have it ^ ^ I had it for a while now and I must say I'm pretty happy whit it ^ ^
I love the fact that it looks natural, but it has a little sparkle in it, it's super cute ^ ^
I also love the fact that I can carry it around and just put it on whit my finger when needed for less than 30 seconds
The fact it's natural only helps more ^ ^
I'm sad I didn't buy anoither one, when it was on sale ^ ^

Eyebrow stylist set by Essence - review

These are all the parts of the set. It conatins two colours - light brown and dark brown, a brush and 3 templets /and a "how to use" helper /

This is how the shapes look

The first shape is whit the lighter colour, the second is whit the darker colour and the last one /one the bottom/ is a mix of both. I have really dark hair /black/ there for my eyebrows are black as well. And the darker colour is more for me.

As Make-up 101 says
- blonds - darker colour
- brunets - lighter colour
than your natural colour, I am a brunet, so I need a lighter colour so having black eyebrows the dark brown is perefct for me.

I don't use it very often, because my eyebrows are naturally very tick so it looks like I always have something on them, but when I get a lill' bit over the top whit the tweezers - this is the thing that saves me ^ ^
I like the fact that it is small and portable
I like the pigmentation
The 3 shapes are OK, but I would like another more ticker one ^ ^

How much does it cost - I think I got it for around 6 leva, so 3 euro for most of you ^ ^ Witch for most of your standards isn't expensive ^ ^

The big Smokey eye topic / review /

Before I start I want to say "Thank you" to the people looking at this /the blog/. I'm so happy to see that someone is actually reading it, it may be only a few people, but really makes my day, so Thank you

So everybody loves smokey eyes and everybody has a diferend way of doing them. Here I'm going to try out two "smokey eye" sets and also tell how I usually make my smokey eye. And because I'm going to write "Smokey Eye" waaaay to many times, from now on I'm just going to write "SE" ^ ^ So I'll start whit the two sets I own. One of them is by Miss Sporty and the other one is by Essence.

I'm going to whit the one by Miss sporty. I have number 401 "for blue eyes" I don't have blue eyes, but it still looks good ^ ^ It looks like this

On the squers it says "1,2,3 and 4" 1 being the lightest colour and 4 the darkest / 1- top left; 2- top right; 3- bottom left and 4- bottom right /
On the back it has this image whit numbers, that suggests how to use them. I actually use the same sceme when doing my SE /before I ever knew what Miss Sporty is ^ ^/ I'm sorry it said ways, I just can't turn it for some reason

On the skin it looks like this - from 1 to 4 - from top to bottom

What do I think ?
The colours are perfect - the blend in perectly and are in perfect harmony
The case is small, so it's easy to carry around
It gives you tips on how to make you're SM
It has 4 colours - as I said i usually use 4 colours of eyeshadow, so that's a plus
But it's not that pigmented. have to over it again and again and again ....
Would I buy it in other colours ? - The other colours avalible -at least here- are green and pink. I may get the green one, but I'll pass the pink version ^ ^

Cost : 3.09 euro /the price is taken off the MS web site/

Next stop we have the Essence SE. It conatins 1 eyeshado, 1 gel liner and a dobble applicator - one for the eyeshadow and one for the gel. I have 03 "Purple manic" I use to have the black one too, but a friend of mine took it ^ ^

It again has a tip on how to use it

And on the skin it looks like this - eyeshadow, liner , both

And here it is on the eye + Mascara

What do I think?
It's small, so it's easy to take it around
It inclueds the brush you are going to need to put on your eyeshadow in the kit, so you don't have to bring another one
It's pigmented, but not too much - a very piggmented purple for a SE wouldn't be such a good idea
It stays a lot longer, because of the gel
You don't need a pencil/liner - witch is what I usually put
But it has only 2 colours and as I said - I use 4

Would I buy it again ? Yes

Cost: here it's 6.00 leva and something and here Essence's stuff is 50% more expensive, witch means somewhere around 3 euro

And now the way I like to do my SE ^ ^
Like i said 45678 times all ready I use 4 colours and follow this sceme. And Yeah it really looks bad done in PS, but I wanted you to see it the best way possible ^ ^

I numbered them from 1 to 4 startting from the lightest colour and ending whit the darkest one. As you can see I start whit applying number 2 all over my lid, then number 1 in the inner corner of my eye. Afetr that apply number 3 and in the end number 4 - like an eye liner.

Before even starting whit the eyeshadow I usually do a little trick I take a kajal pencil in a dark colour / what colour exactly depents on the colour of the SE / For example let's say we are doing a silver-black SE - we will take a black kajal pencil and apply it on the upper lid like a liner - you don't have to make it look good, it could be as messy as you want - put a lot at the outter corner of the eye and make it less and less as you go in. Then take a brush /I like the SE brush from Essence/ and smudge it all over. That way you get of a great start ! It really helps out - try it ^ ^
I also love using quattro eyeshado sets, because thy're colours always look good together. Like for example the quattro eyeshadow pallets From essence - like these two made whit I love denim and To die for - I have only them on, so you van see it better - I'm looking whit my eye a bit closed, so you can see it better ^ ^

If I used a kajal pencil for the first look it would be a dark blue one and for the second one a brown kajal.
Of course it's always good to use a primer before well everything, because that will help your make up stay in place for a longer time and also give it a fresh start ^ ^
Hope you liked it ^ ^
How do you do your SE ?

Brown Me Up ! Baby ^ ^

Here is another look, where I used mostly browns ^ ^ I used: - The Jumbo Eye pencil from the "In the jingle" TE /the brown one/ From Essence - Number 8 "teddy" kajal eye pencil from the regular range of Essence - The white kajal pencil /again from the regular range/ of Essence - A very cheap knock-off mascara ^ ^ - by Golden Rose ^ ^ How to do it: 1 ) apply the Jumbo pencil all over the eyelid /and if needed fix it, like I did/ 2) apply the brown pencil under the water line and as a eyeliner 3) apply the white pencil on the waterline 4) put just a little bit mascara, run it thru your lashes only once and don't out too much, just a little bit / like I did/
A little bit closed, for an intense look ^ ^
We are also 3 followers away from the 1st giveaway ^ ^

Blue Grass

Just a few older looks ^ ^ I'm going to start whiut this one, witch I named Blue Grass /i was also thinking of Green Sky/ So these are the products I used: - Essence MultiDim. eyeshadow - 07 blue lagoon - Essence Colour and Go - o4 Simply Me - Essence white kojl pencil - Catrice eyeshadow brush - Maybaline Mascara - One by One - Veryme double trouble eye pencil - goddess green
Soo, first you take your pencil and whit the blue side do a line on your upper led, next to your lashes / like a eyeliner/ from the inner corner to the middle of your eye. Do the same on the lower lid. Then use the green part and do the same, but this time start from the middle of your eye, where the blue ones ends, to the end of the eye and if you want do a cat eye look or whatever. After that you apply blue eyeshadow on your lid on up from the blue pencil and the the green one on top of the green one. Use as much as you want, I used a little but. And as far away as you go from the eye and blend it. Blending is really important here. I've used a bit of eyeshadow and it's only in my crese, but you can always extend it ^ ^Then apply the white pencil on your waterline - that makes you're eyes bigger - and put your mascara at the end and voyla

Just a bit more ^ ^

I'm ot writing anything, because I'm waiting for my fater to get back from Malaysha /or how ever it's spelled/ whit the camera, because for all the things I want to write, I have to take a picture ... and not having a camera really isn't working for me ^ ^ But he's coming back this Sunday, so I'll be posting on Monday ^ ^ I have a few previews in minds,a few swatches and some make-up ideas for the holidays ^ ^

Adidas Daily Scrub

Today we are going to talk about my fave shower gel - Daily Scrub by Adidas. The ph id very important if you want to have a nice skin and taking a shower everyday may really influence on the ph of your skin, so if you have to/want to take a shower everyday i recomend using special shower gel - everyday shower gels. My personal favorite is the Daily Scrub by adidas. It look like this:
It's actually a scrub, so it cleans your skin very good, but it's also really soft, you all most can't feel it. It has a very good aroma and it leaves your skin very soft, clean and smelling very fresh. I first tried it about two years ago, while I was still dancing and it really felled great.. I also use the same deo, so you won't have a problem here. There is even a body spray whit almoust the same smell, that goes perfect whit the scrub and deo... Also I will be havnig my first giveaway when i reach 10 followers ^ ^ /If I ever do ^ ^/

What can help you straight your hair ?

Naturally my hair is really wavy/curly and it can be a pain in the a** when I'm traying to make it straight. There are a lot of products to help you make your hair straight, but i didn't have big/any results whit most of them. I saw a product by Balea - a DM brand /German/, that can be found in any DM store in Europe. It looks like this and it cost around 4.00 euro /and here the others cost twice that much, at least/
How do I use it ? After I've washed my hair, I just put some in my hand /my hair is long-it passes my waist when straight/ - as big as a chessnut and put it all around in my hair and then 1) I blow-dry my hair - meaning i dry my hear and straighten it at the same time 2) i go to sleep and straighten it whit the straighter in the morning And this thing really helps my hair stay straight for a longer time, than if I don't use it. If i don't use it - the effect is visibale for the next 15 minutes at maximum and if I use it /depending on the wather/ it hold up until I wash my hair again, witch is great ^ ^

Sorry I haven't been on latley ^ ^ Won't happen again - promise ^ ^ So last week my cousin bouth herself a new mascara and they gave her 2 / she won it, she ahd to take out a piece of paper from a bow and she got the same mascara/, so she gave one of them as a gift. This is the newest mascara by Maybelline - Cata eye
As you can see it has a curve brush, similar to older brushes from the series, butthis one is smaller. It's actually better to have a smaller brush, because it helps you get to the root of all the lashes and the fact, that it's curved only helps. It does smell a little bit strange .... I'm not amazed by it and if I had to choose I will still choose the One by One /again from Maybelline/ I will upload some photos when i get my camera back from my Mom /she'll be back on the 14/

Maybelline One by One mascara review

This right now is my all time favorite mascara. It cost around 12 leva/euro and you can bye it from every cosmetic shop ^ ^ It has a big brush, so it makes huge volium. It goes thru every single lash, making each one of them long and black. I would say that it's a combo between the Black drama by Maybelline, Stays On and On and On by Essence and Million lashes by L'oreal ^ ^ I recomend it whit all my heart ^ ^

Sunny's WS: One sleeve for beginers ^ ^

We already have Sunny's tips, witch is for beauty tips, this is a bit differend. Sunny's Work Shop /WS in short/ is the place, where I will show you how to make all kinds of differend stuff. In this one we are going to make a nice and simple one sleeve blouse. It's very easy and perfect for beginers ^ ^ Let's start by saying what we need: - 1 meter of fabric of your choice, but it has to be elastic ! - Scissors - pins - Sawing machine / or you can do it by hand, but it will take you more time p.s. Now's the time to tell you that at the bottom of my post you will see the gif whit all the steps ^ ^ 1. You take your fabric, fold it in two /the print has to be on the inside / 2. Place it on you - put the middle part /that's fold it/ next to your left side. Your arm shoud go on on top. Like you arewrapping yourself in it. 3. put the right part over your right showder and just pin it. Let the other part of the fabric loose. 4. Go to your waist and pin the two sides of the fabric together. 5. Now go to where you want the blouse to end and do the same. 6. Take a pen and just mark all the places whit pins. 7. Take of the fabric 8. Take a pen: - draw a line between the waist pin and the edn-of-the-blouse pin. - go to the top right corner of the fabric and draw a line - around 6-8 cm., on eye. - draw a line from the waist pin, to the end of the line you just made / look at the gif, it will make more sence. - draw a line on the bottom, where the blouse is going to end 9. Cut out on the lines you just made / look at the gif/ 10. Now we get to the sawing part. - Open the blouse, now turn in a little part from the bottom. about 1 cm - do that along the whole bottom part - sew it - Do the same to the top part - Now fold it back. Look at the top part, see where the pin and pen mairking are ? Remove the pin and sew everything from it to the end of the fabric /this is your sleeve/ - Now sew from the bottom to the waist pin/marking - Then from the waist to the end of the sleeve . - Turn the end of the sleeve, like we did whit the ends in the begining and sew it. 11. Wear it ^ ^ p.s. It took me more time to write it down, than to do it ^ ^

Sunny's tips: Natural highlights on the hair ^ ^

The newest trend, that started in the begining of the summer and goes on at least till the end of the winter is the brownish/redish/beggie highlights in the hair. It dosn't matter if we are talking about the whole hair, or only some tufts. I'm gonna share whit you a few ways to make your hair in a lighter color /or make tufts/ whit some help from mother nature ^ ^ In that way, you will not only get the fashionable colour you want, but your hair be more healthy and shiny. 1) Chestnut Just boil some in hot water. Depending on your hair - for long hair around 10-15 chestnuts will be fine and for short 5 will be perfect. Soak your hair in it. After from 30 to 60 minutes wash your hair like you normaly do. For a more intense effect stay whit it longer. The effect isn't that big, it looks like it has been done natural, by the sun ^ ^ Like beeing on the beach for 2 mounths ^ ^ 2) Nettle Do the same thing whit the nettle ^ ^ / look above, number 1) / 3) Beer Wash your hair whit it ^ ^ That's it ^ ^ And again - the more you stay whit it, the more intense the colour is going to became ^ ^ 4) Honey You will need honey and water / whit ph 7/, and one tea spoon of: cineman or vinegar or coconut oil. The proportion is 1:6 honey: water. Mix as much as you feel you need for your hair and add the ocineman/vinegar or coconut oil. Put it on wet hair, just wet, not dripping wet. Put on a shower cap or foil and a towel on top. Stay like this for one hour and after that rinse whit water.

Sunny's tips: White nails and teeth

I bet you all want pearly white teeth and nice, clean, white nails. Here are some little, yet effective tricks for you ^ ^ Nails: Buy an ordinary whitening, put a bit on a toothbrush/soft one, you can buy a new one, the cheap one cost less than a cup of coffe ^ ^/ and massage it on your nails /after first cleaning them up of course/. After that put you nails /hands/ in warm water whit fresh lemon juice and small parts of the lemon /as we all know it's great for whitening stuff/ And then put on some nail oil or if you don't have any - just put some vinegar ^ ^ Teeth: I'm going to share whit you two ways 1) Lemon and soda /cooking soda/ Just mix fresh lemon juice whit cooking soda, until you get a paste. Put that on your teeth for a few minutes and the wash away whit your toothbrush. 2) Strawberry and soda /cooking soda/ Smash a strawberry and add half tea spoon of cooking soda. Put the paste on your teeth for a few minutes and wash away whit you toothbrush. Here you can use things you can use at home and things you already have. You don't have to give a lot of money to have an amazing effect ^ ^

Sunny's tips : Skin care 101

It's very important to choose products for your age and skin type Daily care The daily care routine is from 3 steps, that you have to do every morning and before you go to bed / i can't really get my self to, but i hope you girls do them ^ ^ And my "m" isn't showing much ... hvae it in mind / --------------- Cleaning --------------- It's best to use cream - if you have normal to dry skin gel - if you have from normal to oily skin --------------- Toning --------------- The toner is one of the most neglected products, but it's very important for having good skin . -------------- Moisturising ------------- For this you can use creams - day creams - night creams - remember you hvae to put the 30 minutes before going to bed, so it can go deep in your skin ^ ^ [b]Special care[b] -------------- Exfolienting ------------ There are two kinds - Scrubs - you rub it on yor face - you put it on after cleaning your face. This is similar to heaving a new skin, beacuse the rubbing that really gets rid of all death skin. After using it you HAVE to put on cream. - Peeling - ypu put it on your face after cleaning it for about 15 minutes, then you peel it off, clean your face whit water and put on a cream. The scrubs take awaya more dead skin and that's why they are recomended for people whit bigger face problems - big spots, pimples and ect. The peeling ones are strong too, but tney leave the skin more smoot, that thne other one. It's recomened you use them 2-3 times a week and if you have sensative skin - only once. --------------- Masks ------------ This has been used for centures to make skin evan smoother and more perfect. You choose your mask depending on your skin type. You have to use it maximum 1 or 2 times a week. ------------- Eye cream ------------ This area is very sensative, that's why it need speacial care. It's reacomndd that youu start using it after the age of 25, but if you need to use it sooner - do it. What's the best way to put it on ? Put little dots of the cream right under your lower lashes - on top of the cheek bone and the whit "tapping" whit your ring finger, so you don't put too much preshure on in. After that you repeat the same thing, but the dots of cream are on the bottom of your eyebrown bone ^ ^ If you have very oily scean - it's better to use a eye gel ^ ^

Sunny's tips : What's your skin type

Ok, so here i made a short animation presenting 4 items, whit the help of witch you can make .... well what ever you want ^ ^ Here I've used a very basic look, so you can see how it looks whit each of these products - the powder eyeliner and eyeshadow, black mania kajal pencil, pencil eyeliner and the gel eye liner ^ ^ On 3 of the looks, i even made my lashes disapear, with the help of a loose powder, so you will see the colour and lines better.
So it's practacly from softer to harder / from top left, teh right, then bottom left and of cours right /. I tryed to make the thinest line i can under my waterline and clearly the winner was the gel, after that pencil, powder and the kajal at the end. I love all of them, so it really depents on what look you're after ^ ^

I ♥ STAGE eyeshadow base review

"the i love stage – eyeshadow base has to get on stage! it can be applied diversely either as primer for concealers or eye shadows. the creamy texture does not crease, makes the eye shadow last longer and appear much more color intensive. for an even eye make-up waiting for its gig on stage!" Ok, I ♥ this base ^ ^ The colour really pops up more, about how long it holds - you will have to find out tomorrow ^ ^ I just apply some on my lid and smudge it whit my finger ^ ^ And by the way it works great for a high lighter and a conceler around the eyes ^ ^ It's perfect for non-creamy eyeshadows, because it will help them stay in place and fall over your face or during the day ^ ^ And from the looks of it it will last a long time, so you don't have to worry about getting a new one soon ^ ^

I ♥ GLAM powder eyeliner and eyeshadow review

"the ultimate all-round talent in terms of dramatic eye make-up: as a matter of fact the powder eyeliner & eye shadow is eyeliner and eye shadow in one. due to its loose khol texture it can be applied as both eyeliner and eye shadow. the special flock applicator provides an especially even result and the super fine shimmery pigments provide the i-love-styling with the absolute wow-effect! " I am IN LOVE whit this product... Seriously.... The applicator is hard from the inside, but soft on the outsite and it's flexible at the end, so it really is perfect. The amount that goes on your skinis just perfect and it has this very nice shimmery effect, witch you will love. I know it says "I love glam", but when i saw how it looks on the skin the world - stage - came up in my mind. It's totally what I would wear on the stage - no matter if I'm dancing or acting. It will just look perfect - it doesn't matter if the sun or the lights "light up" the sparkle on your eyes, that this will give you, will always look PERFECT ^ ^
